IP65 Protection for Outdoor Photothermal Applications
The U15A uses an IP65 protection design for outdoor solar thermal tracking applications where the actuator may be exposed to dust and water during operation.
Protection requirements should be evaluated together with the installation environment, mounting position and overall heliostat structure.
Linear positioning for photothermal tower and heliostat structures requiring IP65 protection and controlled actuator movement.
Outdoor Heliostat Positioning
In photothermal tower systems, linear actuators form part of the heliostat positioning mechanism and provide controlled movement for mirror angle adjustment.
The U15A combines 24V DC power, Hall signal feedback and a rated push and pull load range of 3,300–4,700N for project-specific heliostat positioning requirements.
U15A Stroke & Installation Selection
The minimum installation dimension of the U15A is based on Stroke + 275mm ±5mm. The standard front mounting configuration uses a Ø14mm hole.
Stroke and installation dimensions should be confirmed according to the heliostat structure, available mounting space and required adjustment range.
