Understanding the 15,000N Maximum Static Load
The U15A has a rated push and pull load range of 3,300–4,700N. Its 15,000N maximum static load refers to the load the actuator structure can withstand under static conditions.
The 15,000N static load value should not be interpreted as the actuator's rated operating load.
Rated Push & Pull Load: 3,300–4,700N
Maximum Static Load: 15,000N
Static Load in Heliostat Positioning
In heliostat tracking systems, the actuator remains part of the mechanical positioning structure when movement stops. For this reason, actuator selection should consider both the required operating load and the static load conditions of the installation.
Actual actuator loading depends on the heliostat structure, mounting geometry, stroke position and project design.
Load & Speed Configuration
| Voltage | Push Load | Pull Load | Speed | Max. Static Load |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 24V DC | 3,300–4,700N | 3,300–4,700N | 1.17–3.34mm/s | 15,000N |
U15A Installation & Dimensions
The U15A minimum installation dimension is based on Stroke + 275mm ±5mm. The standard front mounting configuration uses a Ø14mm hole.
Stroke and installation dimensions should be confirmed according to the heliostat structure, available mounting space and required adjustment range.
TOMUU Experience in Solar Thermal Projects
TOMUU actuator solutions have been applied in solar thermal tracking projects requiring mechanical positioning and controlled movement of heliostat structures.

Load · Static Load · Stroke · Installation · Feedback
Heliostat actuator selection should consider rated operating load, static load conditions, stroke, installation geometry and feedback requirements together rather than evaluating a single load value alone.
