Product Description

U20K Linear Actuator with Grip-Type Mounting for Solar Trackers

Grip-Type Mounting Configuration for Photovoltaic Solar Tracking Structures

The TOMUU U20K is an electric linear actuator developed for photovoltaic solar tracking structures. A key feature of this configuration is its grip-type mounting structure, which provides a dedicated mounting interface for integration with the tracker structure.

For solar tracker projects, actuator selection is not only about load and stroke. The actuator mounting position, installation dimensions and connection with the tracker structure should also be confirmed according to the actual mechanical design.

The U20K combines this mounting configuration with 20,000N push and pull rated load, 24V DC power and IP66 protection for photovoltaic solar tracking applications.

Grip-Type Mounting for PV Tracker Structures

The U20K uses a grip-type mounting configuration for integration with photovoltaic solar tracking structures. This mounting structure provides a defined actuator mounting interface while allowing the final mounting position to be matched to the tracker design.

Different solar tracker structures can have different mounting points, actuator angles and available installation space. For this reason, the U20K mounting configuration should be evaluated together with the required stroke and installation dimensions rather than selected separately.

Grip-Type Mounting The actuator body uses a dedicated grip-type mounting structure for integration with the photovoltaic tracker structure.
Front-End Connection The standard front-end configuration uses a Ø20mm spherical rod connection. Project-specific front-end requirements can be confirmed before production.
Installation Dimensions Stroke and installation dimensions should be matched to the actual tracker geometry and actuator mounting position.
Mounting configuration should be confirmed with the tracker structure.

Please provide the actuator mounting position, required stroke, installation dimensions and tracker structure drawing when available. TOMUU can evaluate the appropriate U20K configuration before production.

U20K Dimensions & Mounting Reference

The U20K has a minimum installation dimension of 150mm, while the overall actuator length is calculated as Stroke + 375mm.

These dimensions should be considered together with the required actuator stroke and the mounting position on the photovoltaic tracker. Final installation dimensions should be confirmed according to the project structure.

The drawing above shows the U20K actuator structure and mounting reference. Final stroke, installation dimensions and mounting configuration should be confirmed according to the tracker design.

Matching the U20K to Your Solar Tracker Structure

Solar tracker structures do not always use the same actuator mounting layout. Before selecting the final U20K configuration, the actuator should be checked against the mechanical structure of the tracker.

1. Mounting Position Confirm where the actuator will be mounted on the tracker and how the grip-type mounting structure connects with the system.
2. Stroke & Installation Confirm the required travel and installation dimensions according to the tracker movement and available space.
3. Load Requirement Confirm the required push and pull load according to the tracker structure and operating conditions.

If a tracker drawing or mounting layout is available, providing it during actuator selection can help confirm the mounting and dimensional requirements more clearly.

Feedback & Connection Options

The standard U20K configuration is supplied without feedback. For projects requiring actuator movement feedback, a Hall sensor can be selected as an optional configuration.

Cable and connector configurations can also be selected according to project requirements, including tinned leads, connector options and different cable lengths.

Feedback and electrical connection requirements should be confirmed together with the tracker controller and project wiring requirements.

Photovoltaic Solar Tracker Applications

The U20K is designed for photovoltaic solar tracking applications where actuator load, stroke, installation dimensions and mounting structure need to work together as part of the tracker system.

The grip-type mounting configuration gives this U20K version a clear installation-oriented role within the solar tracker actuator range, while the final configuration can be evaluated according to the actual tracker structure and project requirements.
